For sale is a beautifully stylish Arts & Crafts tapering / square brass tea caddy decorated on the front with stylised decoration and a large green enamel cabochon to the lid.

- The brass art metalwork tea caddy by Marion Henderson Wilson, is monogrammed to the base as shown in the photographs.
- The tea caddy sits elevated on four raised angular solid triangular brass legs.
- The square lid has a raised green enamel, ruskin style cabochon on the lid of the tea caddy.
- The lid is hinged to the rear and fits neatly in an air-tight manner with a zinc interior.

Marion Henderson Wilson is considered as one of the “Glasgow Girls”, and attended the Glasgow School of Art around 1884-1896. She was an award winning artist at national and local competitions and was also a regular exhibitor at the Glasgow Society Lady Artists’ Club. Her speciality was mainly in metalwork; repousse brass copper and tin, all very much in her own distinctive Glasgow Style. Ref: Glasgow Girls; Women in Art and Design, 1880-1920 by Jude Burkhauser.
