For sale is a clean and simple Arts & Crafts movement copper jewellery box  decorated with four roses and a classical frieze.

- The rectangular box has a decorated lid with four enamelled panels in a classical Greek frieze.  The decorative border is constructed from a continuous line, shaped into a repeated motif in a blue enamel inset also called the Greek fret or Greek key design.
- The lid has a four rose decoration in each corner which are linked by the fret design.
- The box sits on four pedestal feet and has a wooden liner to the box.
- The tray is in good antique used condition for circa 120+ years of age and remains, beautiful and useful.  It has a design with a distinct and simple design aesthetic from the late Aesthetic Movement into the Arts and Crafts Movement period from 1880 onwards.
