For sale is a Scottish vernacular creepie / stool in a particularly pleasing and decorative worn cream / off white paint from the late-19th Century.

- The medium sized creepie, five boarded stool is in good solid antique condition with a lovely worn paint and neutral colour and thick boarded construction built in a robust manner
- It has a central circular finger cut hole to aid lifting / moving
- The creepie has a curved semi-circular / decorative arch in each of the two-leg panels, one characteristic of Scottish vernacular 'Creepie' stools
- Age-related wear and marks but nothing to effect the solid honest utility of the creepie

These Scottish vernacular stools were of great utility in rural homes for seating by the fire, as a candle stand, small table or ad-hoc workbench.  They are particularly practical and make a great chair-side companion.

Available for a new home for another 120+ years of decorative utility
