For sale is a charming Swedish 'folk art' wooden bowl with a twisting lid from circa 1890.
- The bowl is an attractive and decorative squat round shape like a curling stone with highly curved wood turned edges.
- The bowl has a lovely patina appropriate to its age . It has rectangular stub, worn handle for the lid.
- This bowl is missing an internal tab to the twist lock- lid.
- These lidded storage bowls were for food, butter, tobacco or in the smaller ones snuff.
