- The dark oak stained chair with a rush seat has an elegant rear back-rest made of three over-sized vertical slats which reach all the way down below the seat level, and are reminiscent of a Glasgow design style from the rear.
- The top of the vertical back-rest slats are capped with a solid piece of oak curved across as a capping piece.
- The legs are all secured by a dual pair of stretchers that provide strength.
- The chair is in good, solid and robust condition and the rush work is in good condition with signs of wear from age only.
