For sale is a beautiful decorative, Art Nouveau / Jugendstil portrait photograph frame from the late 19th Century.

- Background wood thought to be walnut inlaid with a floral design motif extending up and over the photograph.
- The tall curved outer shape of the frame is elegant and typical of Art Nouveau, in particular with an asymmetric / offset design to the display of the photograph and the curved upper edge of the recess and the top of the frame.
- Access to the display glass within the rear access hatch, twist metal latches to the rear, the picture is a period Scottish Portrait Photograph taken in Glasgow of a gentleman in three piece suit.
- To the rear the photograph can be freestanding on a fold-out leg (replaced at some point) or hung via the cord on a wall.
