For sale is a beautiful Swedish 19th Century wrought iron stump-stake candle stick with a carved and painted wood block base.

- Simple but beautiful wrought iron candlestick with crude wrought iron toothed pressure lever clamp on a dark green pained wooden block / stake or base.  The wooden block with cut away grooved decoration and the wrought iron candlestick have later gold painted highlights.
- The simple functional utility and clean design make for an attractive and functional decorative antique at over 150 years of age.
- The wrought iron candlestick has a small curved hook handle or tail to transport the candlestick.
- The candlestick sits solidly in the base and is well balanced on the wooden foot.
- Good condition with a  lovely patina to both the wrought iron and wooden foot.

Ready to be used for another 150 years for period lighting.
