For sale is a beautifully decorative, Swedish folk art, original paint, corner / hanging cupboard (hörnskåp / hångskap) c. 1760-1800.

- This decorative country-made painted furniture from the Rococo era has beautiful hand painted decoration in original paint.
- The tall elegant cabinet has highly decorative marbled paint decoration as a background, incorporating eight fielded panel mirrors / windows with rosmålning decoration painted within them.  The cupboard is most likely from Hålsingland/Dalarna in mid Sweden at the heart of folk art / country painted furniture from the second half of the 1700s.
- The upper cornice has a faded marbled / clouded paint decoration and the lower bevelled edge (to the wall mounted or floor / free standing cupboard) is a faded Gustavian blue.
- The cupboard is in solid antique condition and has three internal shelf surfaces for storage, metal wall mounting brackets and functioning lock and key.
